Following the group crit feedback, we then decided to experiment with different typefaces and styles to give the branding a different look.
Above: Too blocky. Don't like capitals. Doesn't say 'art exhibiton'. Too structured.
Above: Hand-drawn style represents traditional print them. Again, too blocky and static. Square boxes do not relate enough to ideas.
Above: Avenir Black - final chosen font. Clear and legible. Rounded but not too much. Looks better with closer kerning but not touching. Bold and to the point.
