The three books I have chosen to design covers for are;
- Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster
- Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
-Animal Farm by George Orwell
I am thinking about creating a collage for each of these front covers as contemporary collage is on the rise and is now becoming popular within modern design. I want to take quite a literal approach and base the collages purely on the name of the book.
I am inspired by collages like those of Rachel Cohen - I love the random quirkiness of these pieces and feel it is something I could implicate within my own work.
I will be looking at books such as Cut & Paste to inspire my own designs.
