I have chosen to use the above image for the front cover of my publication as this is my favourite photograph of Parr's and I think it has a lot of character!
I sampled colours from this and discovered that the bright blue in the photograph had similar tendencies to IKB. I then started thinking about colours to clash and contrast this and thought about baby pink.
I combined the blue with a background colour of light pink as according to the colour wheel they are contrasting colours. Martin Parr’s photography tends to be very garish and vibrant, so I wanted a colour scheme that would reflect this harsh and gaudy style.

Again, I chose to use Futura Oblique as the typeface for the booklet due to its geometric appearance, representative of the Bauhaus design style. It is a very versatile typeface that can be used within numerous different applications to create a modern and contemporary effect. I feel the aesthetic of this particular typeface suits the content of the publication well and suits the work included.
