To match the contemporary and modern aesthetic, I wanted this timeline to be as simple as possible. I chose to use simple lines and text to put this together. I used the same typeface, Avenir Black, to add continuity to the design.
To link in with the collage, I also wanted to include some small images of Marber himself, so I collected two photographs from different times in his life and cut these out digitally to leave just the head.
I then placed these heads onto the timeline at the appropriate points, and used a coloured background - each of which matched the book cover itself.
These were then applied and added to the design.
