Following our decision to use the triangle, we began to experiment with how this could be used within our design. To link in with the screen-printing part of the exhibition, we decided to add a texture similar to a printed effect to demonstrate this.
We chose to use the 4 colours of CMYK - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.
We played around with the idea of using a triangle for the 'a' in 'shaped' - this was interesting but we decided it took too much focus away from the name of the exhibition and effected legibility.
We then experimented with placing the three coloured triangles together and merging them into one shape - using the black as the 'shaped' typeface.
We were really keen on this idea and have decided to take this further.
