After my initial sketches, I started looking further into exactly what kind of tin shape I wanted.
I knew I wanted a cylindrical shape so I started working on this.
I looked at how I could adapt a traditional cylindrical tin shape into something slightly more contemporary, so I started working on how the neck of the tin could add to the design.
I looked at bottle shapes and how I could incorperate this into the tin. I also thought about lids and how they could work with the design.
Eventually I settled on the design below. A cylindrical tin, with a curved neck and circular lid.
I decided this was the best choice aesthetically, looked most contemporary, had the best re-usability, and would function the best.
