OUGD603 - Roald Dahl - Frobscottle Design Development

Following my initial designs, I started playing around with the two chosen typefaces to put together the other elements for the back of the label.

*taking bits of information from the book for the back of the label

I added a border around the edge of the label to give it that extra luxury element.
I love the contrast between the two typefaces in the flavour description - fun and quirky whilst still decadent.

The green is to represent the green drink, however I wasn't sure whether this was too plain, especially on a white background.

Alternative Colourways;
*playing around with different colours, seeing what works and what doesn't.

I came across this image online of a fluorescent green 'acid graphics' poster for a record shop. I was instantly drawn to this - it reminded me of the drink Mountain Dew.

I gave this a go for my own labels;

I liked how this looked but it wasn't authentic/oldy-worldy enough for the actual Roald Dahl story.

I tried an alternative layout with no border and larger text, running off the label;
*didn't feel like this was working too well - took away the authentic element.
