After some experimentation with the typefaces, I decided to start playing around with some tree imagery to add to the logotype.
The tree behind this typeface didn't work as there was too much going on - thicker block colours were needed for the desired effect.
I tried a similar thing with the same typeface in a different arrangement - again, the first one wasn't really working but the second one looked better as the tree was fuller and blockier.
I felt a fuller, thicker typeface would work better on top of the tree silhouette so I went back to Beyond The Mountains. I took the early logotype with the M and W joined together as I felt this was a very strong idea.
Placing the tree just behind the main capital letters worked really well and almost 'filled in' the space between the upper and lower letters.
