After experimenting with Marvin Visions typeface within my publication and deciding against it, I reverted back to using my previous chosen typeface, Integral CF. I just felt that this typeface was a lot more current and relevant to the chosen aesthetic of the publication.
Still reflecting on the feedback from the group crit, I decided to strip the design back and use the collages in their raw form more.
I really liked the idea of having the title/logo of the book in a circle, almost like a sticker. I played on this and put the text on an angle like the circle had been 'stuck' on.
After some feedback from my peers, it was the general consensus that the best/most effective collage was the one with the plant for the head, so I chose to use this on the final front cover design.
