OUGD504 - Design for Screen - Pretty Little Thing App Research

Following the ASOS app, I chose to look at another clothing company, Pretty Little Thing and their app.

Straightaway I found this app was less advanced - after clicking on the app, the first thing that came up was the homepage of the entire 'website' as such. The layout was more cluttered and less straightforward.

I chose the 'Kourtney Kardashian' range from the homepage and it took me to the collection which displayed the products in a similar way to the ASOS app - in a modular grid style. This seemed to be a popular layout for clothing apps/websites.

After selecting a product, I was then taken to the specific page, where similarly to ASOS, the product was displayed in a large image at the top of the screen with the info underneath. This seemed to be presented in a more cluttered way than the ASOS app, though.

When I screenshotted the product, there was no in-app 'sharing' page like there was on the ASOS app.
