I started looking at different typefaces that I felt could represent the company best. Due to the West African roots, I wanted to use something that represented this culture, and had almost alluded to an aboriginal style (without being too obvious).
'Heavy Trip' stood out to me as I felt it had a casual and 'free' vibe yet the capitalization kept a formal element. I tried out the name of the company and I loved how it looked! The letters worked really well in the type and looked good alongside the thick black outline of the logo.
