I felt like the navy blue and baby pink colour scheme just wasn't working in terms of the context of the brand. It was too girlish and 'fun'. However, I came across this image online and was instantly drawn to the colours. I

Playing around with colour palette;




I looked at more playful, less static layouts;

I decided this colour scheme just wasn't working either! I wanted something lighter and more delicate, as the palettes I had used so far had been too murky.
Playing around on Adobe Kuler, I created this palette;

I liked the light, airy, pastel nature of the swatches. I started to experiment with this.



I came to the conclusion that the typeface I had chosen simply wasn't working. Trying to arrange the type alongside the hook was impossible. The only way it worked was having the text horizontal in one line. Anything else did not fit together - the g on 'dough' was intrusive to any letters below and made it hard to put the text in a close formation.
I came across a typeface named 'Serenity' and I was instantly drawn to it. I felt it could potentially work well in tandem with the MADE Canvas type, and the pastel colour scheme.
