I definitely prefer the vintage style packaging over the modern styles - I think the simplistic approach could potentially work better.

OUGD603 - Roald Dahl - Wonka Chocolate Packaging
The way Wonka chocolate is designed is a style I think could work really well for the cake packaging. Not only does it carry links between Roald Dahl's other books, but it adds a fun 'fantasy land' element to the design.
I definitely prefer the vintage style packaging over the modern styles - I think the simplistic approach could potentially work better.
