I had three different potential routes/designs, so I showed them these and asked which they preferred.
Idea 1 - pen illustrations on top of images
Idea 2 - strapline in corner of poster
Idea 3 - 'handmade' positioned on each different image
The first designs with the illustrations were most popular. People really liked the fun and quirky vibe they had. However, feedback suggested that the strapline would work well on the illustrated posters as well.
I tried this out in Illustrator;
Instantly I was drawn to how this looked - it was fun and playful, whilst also clearly communicating a message.
