After Cat had uploaded her research/photoshoot to the drive, I had a look at her pictures and noted that they didn't particularly follow the Scandinavian design she had initially noted.
There was also no mention of the Scandinavian style in her revised brief.
After a chat we discussed the idea of getting rid of the Scandinavian element to the book - it was too hard to include within the publication alongside the images etc. She told me to just simple take it in whatever direction, as long as the content remained pretty much the same.
After some thought and reading through the brief, I came to the conclusion to keep things fun and lighthearted as the book is not only for a younger audience but is also a beginners guide so I didn't want things to get too serious.
